African Surveyors Connect, opened the call through this year’s GIS Day initiative, for change makers that are tackling issues to do with climate change through climate action to submit their innovative ideas, projects and work that will help and contribute towards saving the world.

The challenge focused on five criteria for submission which included:
- Maps
- Geo-enabled Apps
- Impactful Research / Previous Case-study
- Business nike zoom vomero 5 Innovation / Idea
- Storytelling / Essays
In total the challenge received 53 applicants who registered to participate in this year’s event Nike Jordan Jumpman hoodie in grey - release dates & sneakers., Jordans - Yeezys, Urlfreeze News.
This article is an up-close with the 5 winners of the challenge. Each winner received an ArcGIS for Personal Use License courtesy of Esri valued at $100 and for a duration of 12-months. In addition, all participants managed to receive a 12-month free subscription for Story Maps premium.

He lectures in GIS/Remote Sensing and mentors emerging practitioners.
