I am Maria Njoroge,A surveyor by profession.I am a co founder of Plant Signal app. My areas of speciality is Survey with environmental concern. My motivation in life is that nature always speak to you and you have to listen. So lets listen to mother earth. It is calling out we save it.

I feel bad when I do Survey a land and the owner cuts down some huge trees for development.Well its good but the tree came first. I am advocating for survey with environmental concern.I am glad GIS is really helping me to achieve this by developing such geo enabled apps where you get to create awareness on environmental crisis and need for change.I would be happy if this award is dedicated to climate crisis and solutions to it.
