The long awaited event will be happening in the next coming week. Intergeo 2021 will be hosted in Hannover.
Hanover is the capital and largest city of the German state of Lower Saxony.
I remember the registration process to attend this big event began sometime last year in August.
What is Intergeo?
Intergeo is a trade fair where the Geo-IT community meets to exhibit, discuss on topics concerning the Geo community including demonstrations of some of the software producers new services and offers.
This years event will take place live in Hannover, observing the 3G rules (vaccinated, recovered, or tested). Following the motto “inspiration for a smarter world”, the event will address both current and future-orientated topics.
An onsite health and hygiene station will be in full function, including a testing portal, guaranteeing the safe implementation of the live event. In addition, INTERGEO will also take place online as a digital event.
Daniel Katzer, Head of Expo & Conference at HINTE GmbH, has a clear message after a year of online-only events:

With the INTERGEO Hybrid concept, exhibitors will present themselves simultaneously at the live trade fair from 21 – 23 September in Hanover and on the significantly enhanced digital platform.
Thanks to the measures implemented by many states in the fight against covid, things are moving and finally the Geo-IT community is meeting again.
INTERGEO thus offers space for personal exchange, regardless of whether you are present as a participant on site in Hanover or are there purely digitally.
