Lecturer (Surveying and Spatial Science)

The School of Surveying and Built Environment offers an integrated suite of programs that support the planning, design, construction and management of our natural and built environments. As a Lecturer, you will be highly committed to teaching excellence, have a developing research profile, and will actively and effectively supervise honors and postgraduate research student projects, whilst carrying out activities to maintain and develop your scholarly and/or professional activities relevant to your profession or discipline.


Additionally you will have:

  • Completion of a PhD or professional doctorate or equivalent standing, along with relevant industry registration or membership
  • Demonstrated skills and related experience in teaching and research
  • Possess capability in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that result in best practice outcomes for students


What you’ll do:

  • Undertake teaching activities that integrate best practice/scholarly evidence and are informed by scholarly teaching practice, and scholarship/research of teaching and learning.

  • Generate appropriate research income, creating social and economic benefit
  • Collaborate to support HDR students in the successful and timely completion of their relevant discipline.
